RULE BOOK DISCLAIMER
The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator or official.
The race director shall be empowered to permit reasonable and appropriate deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in his/her opinion does not alter the minimum acceptable requirements. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials. Their decision is final.

0.4.1: Two (2) crew members max area allowed to be in tech for each car after the feature.

0.5: Only the Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Gran Marquis or Lincoln Town car will be allowed. Each make must be 1991 or newer.

0.5.1: The entire outer body and corresponding components must match the year, model and make of the car.
-
0.5.2: Swapping bodies on different frames or vice versa is strictly prohibited.
-
0.6: The entire frame assembly must be complete as from factory
-
0.7: Any modification on any part of the car to add or remove weight is not allowed.
-
0.8: Adding weight or ballast to the car is not allowed.
SAFETY
-
1.1: Competitors are solely responsible for the proper usage and installation of all safety equipment.
-
1.2: Drivers must wear approved fire-resistant suits, gloves, shoes, head and neck restraint (HANS device or similar recommended), and full-face helmet at all times on track

1.2.1: Helmets must be full-face and meet SA Snell 2010 or SFI
31.2 standards
-
1.3: The use of a five (5), six (6), or seven (7) point driver restraint system is mandatory.
-
1.3.1: Belts must be certified to SFI Spec 16.1. These restraints must be within two (2) years from the date of manufacture.
1.4: Window nets properly mounted are required.
-
1.5: It is recommended that your seat be a full containment type constructed of aluminum or carbon fiber.
-
1.5.1: All aluminum seats must be mounted properly & securely per the directions or recommendations from the seat manufacturer. The use of Grade 5 or better hardware is also required to attach the seat to the chassis with minimum four mounting bolts (3/8 inch or bigger). Seat mounting brackets must use properly sized bolts 3/8 inch or bigger with washers to match the holes in the mounting bracket. No oversized holes or slotted holes in the bracket.

1.6: It is required that all cars be equipped with a fully functioning fire extinguisher mounted securely inside the car at all times.

1.7: A functioning battery disconnect switch must be mounted behind driver and in reach of track officials at all times.
INTERIOR

2.1: Factory dash and gauge cluster must remain stock and mounted in stock location.
-
2.1.1: Dash pad may be removed.
-
2.1.2: Aluminum dash is permitted but must not be any deeper than fourteen (14) inches.
-
2.1.3: May run aftermarket gauges but the factory cluster must remain in the vehicle and operational.
-
2.2: Steering column must remain stock and mounted in stock location
-
2.2.1: Quick release steering coupler may be used but must be mounted to stock column.
-
2.3: Throttle and brake pedals must all remain stock and in stock location with factory hardware.
-
2.4: All airbags must be removed from vehicle.
-
2.5: Interior decking of any kind is not allowed.
-
2.6: Four (4) vertical steel rods must be installed securely in front of the driver.
2.7: Only one (1) 12V max battery may be used.
-
2.7.1: Battery may be moved to trunk area or behind seat and must be mounted securely.
BODY
-
3.1: Minimum six (6) inch tall numbers must be displayed on the front nose.
-
3.2: Minimum eighteen (18) inch tall numbers must be displayed and legible on both sides and roof of the car.
-
3.3: All factory mounting locations must remain in original location and design.
-
3.4: All flammable materials including, but not limited to, glass and plastic must be removed from the vehicle.
-
3.5: No additional body components are allowed to be attached to any part of the vehicle to enhance the aerodynamic properties of the car.
-
3.5.1: No rear spoilers or wings attached to any part of the car.
-
3.5.2: No side skirts installed anywhere on the car.
-
3.6: Material is not to be removed from any part of the body or frame for lightning, clearance or otherwise except for the driver & passenger doors and B-pillars for rollbar clearance.
-
3.7: All stock bolt on body components must be installed on the car including doors, hood and trunk.
-
3.7.1: Hood and trunk may utilize factory hinges but must be secured with hood pins.
-
3.8.1: Stock B-pillars may be removed from the car.
-
3.8: Front and rear bumpers must be installed securely and remain stock with no sharp or protruding edges.
-
3.8.1: Stock or aftermarket bumper cover are both allowed.
-
3.8.2: Round, steel aftermarket bumpers are allowed to be run but must turn back towards frame inside the fender. 1.750” max diameter and 0.095” minimum thickness.
-
3.9: Any holes in front and rear firewalls must be fully sealed and secure with 0.063” max thickness aluminum or steel.
-
3.10: Interior decking of any kind is not allowed.
FRAME
-
4.1: Roll cage must be four (4) point minimum cage constructed of
0.095” minimum steel tubing.
-
4.1.1: Welds and workmanship will be inspected by XR officials for structural integrity and must pass visual inspection.
-
4.1.2: The roll cage must be fully contained within the driver compart. No part of the cage may protrude outside of the driver/passenger compartments.
-
4.1.3: Cage must be welded to the frame and can not be set back any further than the front edge of the rear floorboard.
-
4.2: Front doors must have steel, 0.095” minimum thickness steel bars mounted securely.
-
4.2.1: Driver door must have a minimum of 4 door bars with steel plate recommended.
-
4.2.2: Passenger door must have a minimum of 3 door bars.
-
4.3: Down bars front and rear are not permitted.
-
4.4: A maximum of two (2) bars with hoops are permitted to be installed to protect radiator.
ENGINE
-
5.1: Engines
-
5.1.1: Engines must be a completely stock 4.6L SOHC 2V that match make and model of car it’s installed in.
-
5.1.3: Absolutely no tuning allowed to the engine through any means
-
5.1.4: AC condensers must be removed and not installed.
-
5.1.5: Intake manifolds must remain stock or Doorman replacement.
-
5.1.6: Only stock ignition and coils will be allowed. No aftermarket or performance coils will be allowed.
-
5.1.7: All traction control devices, whether electronically controlled in the ignition system, wheel sensors, brakes, or any means of measuring ground speed to control wheel spin, are strictly prohibited.
-
5.1.8: No computer controlled devices, GPS, cellular, satellite or Wi-Fi devise or any other type of electronic tracking or locating devices of any kind are allowed anywhere on or attached to the car.

5.2: Exhaust
-
5.2.1: Catalytic converters may be removed.
-
5.2.2: Exhaust must be securely mounted and run past drivers compartment and exit on either the side or under the car.
-
5.2.3: Exhaust mufflers are required to be installed.
-
5.2.4: Exhaust manifolds must remain stock. ● 5.3: Transmission

5.3.1: Transmission must be completely stock transmission for the year and make of model that it’s installed in.
-
5.3.2: Removing gears or lightning gears are strictly prohibited.
-
5.3.3: All gears must be operational at all times.
-
5.3.4: Truck or 5.4 transmissions are not allowed.
-
5.3.5: Only stock torque converters for the year, make and model that it’s installed in.
-
5.4: Driveshaft
-
5.4.1: Stock driveshaft only. Must be painted white.
-
5.4.2: A driveshaft hoop must be securely mounted six (6) inches rearward from front u-joint. ● 5.5: Rear End Gear
-
5.5.1: Only a 2.73, 3.27, 3.55, 3.73 gear ratio set are allowed to be installed.
-
5.5.2: All gear sets must remain completely stock with no aftermarket parts or lightning for weight or performance.
-
5.5.3: Gear sets may be welded or utilize aftermarket Posi-locker setup. ● 5.6: Brakes
-
5.6.1: All brake components including rotors and calipers must remain stock for year and make of model. No slotted or drilled rotors or lightweight calipers allowed.
-
5.6.2: All four (4) brakes must be operational at all times.
-
5.7: Fuel
-
5.7.1: Only stock pump gas is allowed with a maximum of 93 octane.
-
5.7.2: No E85 or race fuel allowed.
-
5.7.3: The stock fuel tank and pump must be used and remain in stock position.
SUSPENSION
-
6.1: All suspension must remain stock with zero alterations or aftermarket parts.
-
6.2: Only stock front and rear springs may be used. No altering springs in any way. Springs must remain the same size, diameter and height on all 4 corners.
-
6.3: Strut and spring assemblies must remain stock and match side to side.
-
6.4: If used, front or rear swaybar must be stock and mounted in stock location.
-
6.5: Each suspension component must remain in it’s original stock location and corner. Swapping components for different corners is not permitted.
-
6.6: Altering suspension components, including heating or bending, is not allowed.
-
6.7: It is allowed to run lower front camber bolt from MOOG or equivalent three (3) degrees max.
-
6.8: Only stock replacement shocks will be allowed. No racing style shocks allowed.
-
6.9: Only stock trailing arms will be allowed.
-
6.10.1: Trailing arm bushings must be stock or stock replacement and not be worn in to allow additional movement on track.
-
6.10.2: Trailing arm bushings must be stock or stock replacement. No polyurethane bushings allowed.
WHEELS/TIRES
-
7.1: Wheels
-
7.1.1: Wheels must be stock steel wheel. No racing wheels allowed.
-
7.1.2: All four (4) wheels must be the same size and offset.
-
7.1.3: No wheel spacer or any other means to space out the wheel are allowed at any time.
-
7.1.4: No offset wheels allowed on cars 2003 and newer.
-
7.1.5: Cars 2002 and older may run stock steel Dodge Charger 17” wheels.
-
7.1.6: Modifications to stock wheels are not allowed. ● 7.2: Tires
-
7.2.1: All four (4) tires installed on the vehicle must be DOT approved for road use and must be the same width, aspect ratio, construction and rim diameter.

7.2.2: Snow and all terrain tires are not allowed
-
7.2.3: Direction or high performance tires are not allowed.
-
7.2.4: No racing tires allowed.
-
7.2.5: All four (4) tires must not be under 350 tread wear.
-
7.2.6: Air bleeder valves of any kind are not allowed.
-
7.2.7: Grooving, siping and drilling tires are not permitted.
-
7.2.8: Chemical alterations, vulcanizing, tire softening, defacing and/or altering the face of the tire lettering and/or tire stamping is not allowed.
